Subject: Red Pinapple from Dole Farm on Oahu, Hawaii.

I just knew I had to paint this colorful pineapple that I saw on the Dole Pinapple farm on Oahu. It was one of many unusual varieties grown there. This one was a bright orangy red color.
This is one of my very favorite paintings, it was a challenge to paint on the very slick clayboard, but I really liked the result when it was all finished. It has also won several awards. |
